  • Tina B. lets us know about some places to go in her area: I have been going to The Shark Club (in The Deep) in Centreville, Virginia. They have a FREE Salsa Class from 9(-ish) to 10(-ish). Ladies get in FREE until 11:00 (it's Ladies Nite) and open dancing goes until closing (2:00?). They play Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia and Bachata. Location is 14114 Lee Highway - Phone (703) 266-1888.   • I am also a Fitness Instructor who subs classes at the Fitness Club of Fairfax (11230 Waples Mill Road, Fairfax VA -- (703) 352-2280), where they will be hosting a 5-week Salsa, Merengue & Cha-Cha class on Saturdays from 5:00 - 6:30pm from April 21 - May 20. Guest instructor Jeri Dembrak has been a major talent in the DC Salsa scene, and has a performance group "Los Salseros Sabrosos". The 5-week series costs $75.00 for non-members of FCofF, and drop-ins (space available) are $15.00 per class.
